Alison Wonderland (born Alexandra Margo Sholler) is a DJ and electronic dance music producer and producer hailing from Australia. Tolman's performance in the role of Minnesota police officer Molly Solverson was praised by Vanity Fair, who wrote: "She calmly and confidently was the star of the show". Tolman received the Critics' Choice Television Award for her performance in the category Best Supporting Actress, Films/Miniseries. Additionally she was nominated in the category of Best Actress were received at the Emmy Awards as well as the Golden Globes. It was also in the same year that it was revealed that Tolman is scheduled to make a guest appearance on the Mindy project as Abby Berman who is a romance author. In 2015, her supporting character was on Michael Dougherty's film, horror-film Krampus. Tolman was turned down for parts in the supporting roles including best friends wives, and mothers following her breakout role in Fargo. She was looking for an unusual role. Tolman's role on ABC Downward Dog was based on her role in the Animal Media Group Web Series. After one season it was cancelled. In addition, she starred on the ABC drama show Emergence, which was launched on September 24, 2019 it was cancelled following one season on May 21, 2020, despite getting "pretty solid" ratings according to Tolman via Twitter. She was also a guest star on NBC's Good Girls. In 2021 she was a guest star in the role of Alma Filcott in the second season of the drama show Why Women Kill, and she also played Natalie Green in The Facts of Life portion of the third season of Live in Front of a Studio Audience.
